FAQs
At NurtureClean, we understand that when it comes to the health and safety of your space, every detail matters. Whether you're a parent, teacher, or community leader, this FAQ page is here to help you feel confident and informed about our cleaning and disinfection services.
1) Is there a residue from the spray or fog?
No, our disinfectant solution is water-based and dries without leaving behind any sticky or oily residue. It’s safe for use on hard surfaces, fabrics, and electronics (when applied correctly), and it evaporates quickly without the need for wiping.

2) Do I have to clean surfaces after the treatment?
No additional cleaning is required after treatment. In fact, we recommend leaving the treated surfaces untouched for at least 10–15 minutes to allow the disinfectant to fully air-dry and complete its germ-killing action.

3) Do you remove items that should not be sprayed?
Yes. Our team will work with you prior to treatment to identify sensitive items such as open food, paper artwork, or electronics that may need to be covered, relocated, or cleaned by hand instead of fogging. We’ll ensure proper precautions are taken to protect your property.

4) Is it safe for or on fabrics?
Yes. Our solution is fabric-safe and non-staining, making it suitable for use on upholstered furniture, rugs, curtains, and even soft toys. It leaves no residue or scent, and it won’t damage colors or materials.

5) What steps do I need to take prior to treatment?
Before your scheduled service:
-
Remove or cover open food and drink containers
-
Store or cover any delicate paper-based items
-
Ensure pets and children are not present during the treatment
-
Leave interior doors open so our team can access all necessary area
We’ll provide you with a short checklist before your appointment to make prep easy.
6) What do I do after a treatment?
Allow 15–30 minutes for the solution to fully settle and dry before reentering the treated space. Once dry, the space is ready to use. There’s no need to wipe down or rinse anything. You may notice a mild, clean scent at first that quickly dissipates.

7) How long until the air quality is safe?
Our solution is non-toxic and safe once dry, typically within 15–30 minutes of application. Ventilation is always a good practice, but not necessary. The fogging process actually helps improve air quality by reducing airborne pathogens and allergens.

8) Is the disinfectant safe for children and pets?
Yes. Our hypochlorous-based disinfectant is alcohol-free, bleach-free, and free from ammonia, parabens, sulfates, dyes, and artificial fragrances. It’s designed to be safe for use in environments with children, pets, and sensitive individuals.

9) How often should our facility be treated?
Treatment frequency depends on the level of foot traffic and use. For daycares or churches, we typically recommend a biweekly or monthly service to maintain optimal safety—especially during flu season or after an illness has been reported.

10) Are you certified or insured?
Yes. Our lead technician is IICRC-certified, and our business is fully insured. We follow professional cleaning protocols and safety standards to ensure a high level of care and accountability.

11) Can we schedule services outside of business hours?
Yes! We offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate your school or facility’s hours. We work around your schedule to keep your operations running smoothly.

12) How long does a treatment take?
Most treatments take 30–90 minutes, depending on the size and layout of the space. We’ll give you a clear time estimate when booking and ensure minimal disruption to your daily routine.

13) Will the treatment damage electronics or sensitive surfaces?
No. Our team uses ULV foggers that emit a fine mist safe for most surfaces. We avoid direct application to sensitive electronics and take extra care to protect items that may require special handling.

14) Are your products EPA-registered or approved for use against COVID-19 and other viruses?
Yes. We use a hypochlorous acid solution that meets EPA criteria for use against viruses like SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), flu, norovirus, and more. It’s effective, safe, and used in healthcare environments nationwide.

15) Are your technicians trained or certified?
Yes. Our technicians are trained in industry-standard safety protocols and our owner is IICRC-certified. You can trust that every service is performed with professionalism and care.
